In The Shoebox – with Manon Lagrève
This month we are launching our ‘In the Shoebox’ series which follows some empowering and inspirational women and our combined love for shoes!

- How many pairs of heels do you have?
I don’t think I have enough! I probably have around 10. But I am enjoying building up my collection with special pieces, rather than high street.
- What’s your favourite style of shoe?
If I wear a heel, it has to be comfortable, so a block heel is always a good idea if I know I am going to spending all day standing. If I know I’ll mainly be sitting, I love an ‘escarpin’ (heeled pump) to complete my look and create a nice silhouette and elongate my legs!

- How would you describe your style?
French, chic but with some colours and funky pieces. I love a bit of gold, glitter or pink sometimes 🙂
- Do you own a pair of shoes that have a special meaning / memory to you? What is the story behind them?
When I go on holidays, I often like to pick some shoes made locally! I have some amazing sandals from a souk in Marrakesh that I wear all the time, and some amazing heeled gingham espadrilles I bought on the Île de Ré, made there. Then I have just bought my wedding shoes, which I think will be pretty special 🙂

- Who inspires you?
Any truly confident woman inspires me. Comfortable with their body and thoughts, who don’t need to look down on other women to make themselves feel better. I love Jeanne Damas and Marion Cotillard!
